Jackass (franchise) Logo (PNG, Transparent)
Jackass first aired on MTV on 1 October 2000, and it launched a whole franchise built around a crew of friends hurting themselves for laughs. Johnny Knoxville and Bam Margera are among the regulars. Each episode is a pile of pranks, stunts and daft dares, with the group usually taking the worst of it.
