The Truce is a historical war drama from Netflix, released on 10 October 2025. It takes place at Karlag, a huge Soviet prison camp built in 1931 on the Kazakh steppe, and looks at how inmates got through the 1930s to the 1950s while holding on to their dignity. The production leaned on archive and museum research to get the costumes, props and sets right.
