Mysterious Island Logo (PNG, Transparent)
Mysterious Island came out in 1961 from Columbia Pictures, and it mixes adventure, fantasy and science fiction. A group of Union soldiers flee a Confederate prison camp by balloon during the American Civil War. They crash on a remote Pacific island full of oversized creatures and plants, and have to think their way out. It follows on from an earlier Jules Verne adaptation about a submarine.
